KG-Silicone 500 has hygroscopic qualities, which means that it can absorb moisture and release it again during the baking process. These features lead to an anti-slip effect despite the non-stick properties. KG-Silicone 500 is therefore frequently used in automatic baking systems with long transport distances as well as in bake-off.
